A Walk for the One has formed a partnership with Eastside Academy, a local nonprofit organization in Washington that provides vital support to children and families from diverse backgrounds. Eastside Academy is committed to helping youth not only navigate their high school years but also successfully transition into their futures. As a Christ-centered organization, Eastside Academy offers a range of services, including intentional education, housing for youth in need, scholarships, and the cultivation of a nurturing and long-term supportive community.
A Walk for the One is dedicated to raising funds for The McBride Scholarship, a program designed to support at-risk youth as they age out of their current environments and enter adulthood. This initiative aligns with our belief as followers of Jesus Christ that we are called to serve and love our neighbors, including those in challenging circumstances. In this instance, our neighbors are the youth and families facing difficult times.
We believe that one powerful way we can show love is by investing our time to build relationships with people who are often overlooked. Additionally, we can extend our love through financial contributions that make a tangible impact. We are committed to sharing the hope and healing found in Christ, offering both spiritual and practical support to those in need.
